Best Artist?

Recent Shows

Five prints from my Odd One Out series were exhibited in the group show Girls, Girls, Girls at the Jenkins Johnson Gallery in NYC from January 14-February 24. Images of the exhibition can be found on my blog. Jenkins Johnson Gallery has also named me as one of "10 Artists to Watch."

I also created 5 original 2.5x3.5 inch collages which were sold at Artadia's Trading Card Benefit Sale. I had a great time both making new work and at the event! I will be posting images of the event and scans of my work to my blog soon.

Upcoming Shows

I will have a print in the group show Gender Matters/Matters of Gender at the Freedman Gallery at Albright College. I'll be showing alongside Gallery Kayafas artist, Jess Dugan.

This summer I will also be exhibiting with the rest of the 2009 Boston Artadia winners at the San Francisco Art Institute.

Collaborative Work

March:

I am working with writer Jade Sylvan on a collaborative one-night event, Here & Now, featuring a variety of talented artists. All work will exist only for the duration of the show and will be ritualistically burned at the end of the night.

Ongoing:

I am continuing to work on a series of images with my friend and fellow artist, Karen Clunes. She initiated the sequence with the cloud image shown above, I followed with the image on the right in response, then she continued with another image. We will continue the visual conversation until it naturally arrives at the end. I hope to share the first parts of the conversation near the end of the year.

New Work Coming Soon

New one-off pieces and a portraits gallery will be added to my website soon, I promise!

Notebook

I'm currently collecting the work that interests and inspires me, quotes, and sketches/one-off pieces in a new online artist's notebook. Check it out!

Models (Still) Needed!

I'm working on several portrait projects and need people willing to model. I have a variety of opportunities and am willing to work with your comfort levels and schedules. Let me know if you're interested!
